Drawing offers a different mode of thinking than design. While design often requires structure, planning, and conscious decisions, drawing creates room for instinct, intuition, and a certain loss of control.
Things often emerge on the page before they can be explained or understood. Sometimes their meaning only becomes clear afterwards, as if drawing allows the subconscious to speak through the hand.
